One of the most perplexing things about sales is that sales people are only paid if they sell something, the longer they go without a sale the harder it is to sell. The longer without a sale and the more desperate the situation becomes, the harder the sales person tries to sell, the more difficult it is to sell.
Selling should be about serving the prospect, making sure that they are getting a product or service that will fit their needs, something that will make the prospect feel good. The sales person is helping the prospect and should remember that it is all about the prospect not about the sales person.
It's all about serving the customer?!
