Should we be foolish? A sensible approach!
"A Fool" a person with poor judgement or little intelligence. My favourite fool is of course from the Tarot cards:
This is so appropriate for the beginning of Spring, we see a young man setting off on a journey, he is happy and care free, he has a few simple possessions in his bag and his small dog at this side. What a great setting, but wait! He is about to step off a cliff into the abyss and he is blissfully unaware of it, his dog is trying to warn him but he is just daydreaming along.
Whether it is work, or a new love, starting a new life, we all need to plan and set ourselves goals. The fool did not plan his route, he is not looking ahead, he is oblivious to the warnings.
This is a new month, time to start fresh, set your goals, big and small. Quantify them, date them and write them down. How are you going to get where you need to be? Just wandering down the road may lead you off a cliff. Wake up!
Are you starting a new life? A new relationship? A new business? A new job? Where do you want to go? How are you going to get there? Is there anyone in the drivers seat today?
Happy April Fools day! I think I might just take a stroll on the beach - there are no cliffs in Florida.....
