The location of this dream will give you an idea of where you are feeling exposed. To be naked in an office is a fear that those who you work with will see how vulnerable you are. To be naked with family is a fear that that your family know too much about your private life. The message is to take your power and to make whatever changes in your life that will protect you from criticism. You can either change your behaviour or change who you confide in.

2. Looking for a toilet

If you dreamed about looking for a toilet in your dream then you are concerned about your privacy. Commonly in this dream, you are unable to find anywhere to go to unload your waste. This is my dream interpretation blog where I describe a dream, interpret the elements of the dream and then give a dream interpretation.

In today's dream our dreamer is sitting at a table in a hotel, there are 5 of them at the table. One is a sister and another is an old friend from school. There is a disturbance and the lights go out. It is dark and the dreamer has lost their shoes. The school friend has a torch and helps the dreamer to find the right shoe, eventually a left shoe is found but it is not the matching shoe. The friend starts talking to the sister about someone the dreamer used to date and says they look good now. The dreamer agrees but wants to find the left shoe of the pair. The friend loses interest in finding the shoe because the other one is good enough. What does this dream mean?

Dream meaning hotel: If you dream about a hotel, hostel, bed and breakfast - you are in transition between one phase or one place in your life and another. Hotels are temporary accommodation so the place that you are in now will change and transition into something else. The condition of the hotel will give you an idea of whether this is a positive or negative change for you. A broken down hotel would mean that things are not going well at the moment, a luxurious hotel means that financially things are good - however these are transitory places and so change will come either way.

In today's dream, our dreamer is watching a nephew playing with their cell phone. The nephew holds a magnet to the cell phone. The dreamer is upset and is worried that the memory will be erased. The dreamer takes back the cell phone and is enraged to find that everything has been deleted. What does this dream mean?

Mobile phones are used to contact other people, we depend on them to stay in constant touch with friends and family. A phone is used to take photos so is used to create memories. This is my tarot reading blog to help you to learn the meanings of the tarot cards quickly and easily, using visual, audio and kinaesthetic cues. I like to use the traditional Rider Waite tarot cards as the symbology is so beautiful.

The Chariot

The Chariot is number seven in the major arcana, it is the magical number 7 card associated with luck.

The card depicts a journey or someone moving away from the city to another destination.

The charioteer has to control two Sphinxes that are opposite colours, black and white and who may be pulling in different directions.

The Chariot represents strength, being determined to reach a goal. There are talismans to bring luck to the tasks.

A crescent moon represents fertility, growth, power and creativity associated with this card.

The square carriage represents the harmony and balance that must be maintained in order to reach the goal.

There is a lingon and yoni symbol that represents a sexual union between man and woman. This card is about bringing harmony between opposites and cooperation.

All 4 elements work together in this card to reach a destination.

The charioteer wears a star of authority and the colour yellow is strong in this card representing consciousness.

The lovers is about making choices the woman is a temptress, she stands by the tree with the forbidden fruit and the snake from the garden of Eden.

The card represents the passion of physical love, there is a volcano that may erupt.

The male may be a soul mate, he could also be temptation, there is heat, honest represented by the nudity of the man and woman.

There could be a union of opposites to create a harmonious whole. This can also represent working on a relationship.

The Hierophant is a preacher, he can be associated with marriage. This card is associated with tradition, rituals, joining a group. You may have joined a religious group, a cult, something that is related to spiritual studies.

There is a warlike feeling with this card, Aries is rules by Mars, the God of War and the Emperor is wearing a suit of armour, he is ready to do battle.

He has the symbol of an ankh which represents hidden spiritual knowledge and fertility.

He holds an orb in his hand and this represents power over the world, thoughts about ruling the planet are associated with this.

This person is strong, a powerful leader, straight and forthright, perhaps inflexible, obeying the rules and expecting to be obeyed. There is an inflexibility with the number 4.

There is a feeling of opulence with this card, a mother figure and giving birth, creating new life and being in harmony with nature, a feeling of physical love, beauty and having everything that is needed to grow.

Persephone who had to return to the underworld for 6 months every year is associated with the pomegranate.

The priestess sits between 2 pillars of metal, representing strength and establishment.

Despite this there is a strong sense of the feminine with the Egyptian lily representing rebirth.

The priestess wears a blue robe, that is associated with the throat chakra and with communication.

On her head is a diadem representing authority.

On her lap there is a Tora scroll showing hidden knowledge, there is a feeling of secrets that will be revealed in time.

The moon represents change, moon cycles and feminine energy.

The high priestess is a teacher, a librarian, a guarder of knowledge of fertility and feminine secrets. She represents knowledge and depth, intuition and spirituality.

This is the first card of the major arcana - number one. A new beginning, a unity of purpose a focus on one thing.

The magician wears a white coat of innocence and purity and a red coat of knowledge.

An infinity symbol above the magicians head shows unlimited potential.

A snake biting it's tail is at his waist symbolising the infinite circle of birth and death.

There are flowers showing fertility of ideas, things growing and coming into fruition.

On the table the Magician has many tools for his trade. He is able to use all of the elements - a pentacle for earth, a sword for air, a cup for water and a wand for fire.

This represents a person who is good at their job, perhaps a scientist, someone smart who is purposeful and can make things happen. Someone who will experiment, who is well read and who has creative ideas.

Card Zero - starting at the beginning with nothing.

Innocently starting out on a journey.

Being young and flamboyant, sniffing a white rose of innocence.

Living in the moment - not worrying that you might walk off a cliff.

Having a young loyal companion, the little white dog - who tries to warn you about the cliff.

Being surrounded by obstacles -high mountains but not being bothered by that.

Having enough in your backpack to get by for now and that is all that matters.

Learn to read tarot - Introduction

Tarot cards are a tool you can use to connect with your intuition about a situation. Each card means whatever you would like it to mean. However there are some great clues in the cards which will help you to decipher the meaning.

Reading from a list of possible definitions can be distracting and confusing. How much easier it is to look at the card and the symbols on the card to read the message. You may be a visual learner, you may learn by hearing sounds or through motion. My suggestion is to make a poem or a song about the card if you learn through sound. If motion is your thing - try acting out the action on the card and you will soon get a feeling for the meaning!

Dream about a mansion, a white horse and a gardener

This is my blog where I describe a dream, interpret the elements in the dream and then write a dream meaning. I also describe a tarot card that relates to the dream.

In today's dream our dreamer is exploring a mansion house with family and their ex. They are trapped by some bad spirits in the house but everyone manages to escape except the ex. The dreamer keeps going back to the mansion to rescue the ex, but they always end up back in the house. They escape on a white horse but end up back at the house again. The dreamer escapes from the house and finds a person in the garden, there is a feeling of love between them. The dreamer's class mates are standing at a bus stop telling the dreamer to move on and forget the ex.

What does this dream mean?

Dream of a mansion house: A mansion is a big home where lots of people live, it is a symbol of material achievement and financial success. The elements of the dream will tell you more about the meaning. If you owned the mansion and were happy, then financial success will give you what you desire. If you were unhappy, perhaps you are pursuing the wrong things in life and you have too many responsibilities that are making you sad. If you visit friends in a mansion then you are watching those around you achieve material success. If you are exploring a mansion but do not know the owner, it is likely that the mansion is an old home where you can observe how other people live. A mansion may well be connected with the past as in popular culture we associate families living in mansions with TV and old novels.

Dream about Spirits: Spirits may come to you in your sleep because it is easier to communicate when we are not busy with other things. Good spirits in a dream are being helpful and letting you know what actions to take. Bad spirits are a warning against a course of action or a person.

Dream about horses: Horses represent power, strength and freedom. If you are riding a horse or controlling a horse then you have the power. If the horse is trying to throw you off then you will have to work hard to maintain your position. If a horse bites you, then you are in danger of losing respect and your position, get ready for a demotion. A horse running free is a symbol or creativity and being able to follow your own path. A horse in a stable is power that is under control and managed.

A white horse is a symbol of the spirit, a guardian, positivity and purity of motive. A brown horse represents strength and purpose whereas a black horse represents the dark horse, one that is not exactly what you expect it to be, it can be positive or negative.

Dream about a gardener, garden: Gardens are where things grow, so a nice garden is cultivated and managed. If you dream of a garden you will be given the opportunity to grow in your life, nurture your feelings and talents. An untidy, overgrown garden is telling you to cut back, things have gotten out of control and you need to take actions to reign in your activities. You are growing in all directions and are in danger of burning yourself out. Gardens can be full of seeds and new possibilities, you can flower and become your best self in a garden that is cared for.

A gardener is a person who tends and cares for seeds and plants. In a dream a gardener is there to help you to grow, to nurture and encourage you and to help you to thrive.

Dream about a bus stop: a bus stop is a place where you wait for the next bus. The bus takes a group of people on to their next destination. Waiting at a bus stop symbolises waiting for the next chapter in your life to start. The characteristics of the bus and the road will give you an idea as to how good the next chapter will be and if there are any obstacles that need to be overcome. Other people at the bus stop will also be a guide as to the purpose of your journey and who will help you in the next chapter of your life.

Meaning of today's dream: Our dreamer starts the dream in a mansion house, it is a visit to the house, where the dreamer, the family and the ex are exploring. It seems as if this is a visit to the past. The house is full of bad spirits, these seem to be memories and the dreamer and family manager to escape. In other words the dreamer manages to move on. Unfortunately the ex is unable to move on and is trapped by these bad spirits. The dreamer has rescued the ex many times but the ex keeps going back there, it is as if the ex has some unresolved need to revisit. The dreamer rescues the ex on a white horse, this seems like a spirit guide, it is a good powerful horse but even with help and all of this power the ex refuses to move on.

The dreamer goes into the garden and meets someone, there is a love connection and this is a really positive thing. The garden is where new relationships grow, there is the possibility of love if the dreamer chooses not to go back into the mansion with the ex.

The dreamer's class mates are at the bus stop, they are ready to finish school and move on with their lives. They would like the dreamer to move on too. The dreamer has support, spiritually with the horse, emotionally with the person in the garden and from their friends to make a fresh start. This is the advice of the dream.

This is an optimistic card, it is about being comfortable in your skin, going on your journey, the sun is shining and everything in the garden is growing well. The sunflowers represent the spirit and they are well cared for and controlled behind the wall, the dreamer has the freedom and power of the horse to create their own path.

Dream about Driving and Object in the Road

This is my dream interpretation blog, where I describe a dream, break down the elements of the dream and then give a dream interpretation.

In this weeks dream our dreamer is driving along the road, there is one passenger in the car, an elder brother. The dreamer does not own the car it has been borrowed from a neighbour who is an old friend of the family. The fuel tank is almost empty so the dreamer goes to a gas station to fill up. It is difficult to fill up as lots of people are at the gas station trying to get a lift in the car. They are going in a different direction and the brother talks to them and they go away.

The road goes up slightly but our dreamer finds the car is going backwards and is in danger of hitting some other cars, it is really difficult to control. The dreamer tries to control the car, but the tires are smoking, the hazard lights are on and somehow the car rolls back through 3 lanes of traffic without hitting anything. The dreamer starts the car forward again but there is an unavoidable rock in the road, the dreamer tries to avoid hitting the rock and eventually uses their feet to push against the rock to avoid an accident.

What does this dream mean?

Driving a car: Driving a car in a dream is about moving through life. The road is the journey and the condition of the car and the road will give a clue as to the meaning of the dream.

Passenger: If you dream of being a passenger on a journey, you are depending on someone else to make decisions about your life's direction. If you are driving and have a passenger they are dependent on you. The identity of the passenger will give you an idea of the way in which the person is dependent.

Direction: Generally going upwards in a dream is good, it shows progress in life, whereas going downwards or backwards is a loss of status, money, prospects.

Petrol/Gas for Car: If you run out of gas or are low on gas, it means that you are running out of energy to continue your journey. Perhaps you have been on the road too long with little reward and you need a rest or a change of direction. To have lots of gas/petrol means that you can go a long way without stopping so you are in a situation for the long run.

Hitchhikers: The meaning depends on the situation, you may enjoy helping others to get to their destination or you may find the hitchhikers aggressive and that would mean that others are jealous of your progress. If the hitchhikers try to get you to go n the wrong direction it is a warning that you mustn't let strangers pull you away from your goals.

Object/Stone in Road: An object or stone in the road is an object in life, something that is preventing the dreamer from achieving their goals. The larger the object, the more difficult it will be to move past it. A large stone or rock is really difficult to move, where other objects may just melt away. It can be something that the dreamer needs that is preventing them from moving forward or it could be something external like the prejudices of others. It is important to consider other aspects of the dream to see the reason for the obstruction.

Dream Meaning:

In this dream, our dreamer is going through life, trying to keep the car on the road - most likely trying to make ends meet and make progress towards their goals. Unfortunately, things have not been going great, they have had to borrow a vehicle from a neighbour. On a positive note, the dreamer has friends who are trying really hard to help them to get on track.

The dreamer has a family member as a passenger so others are depending on the dreamer doing well. This is a good relationship as the brother helps to deter some hitchhikers who wanted the dreamer to change direction. The brother is helping the dreamer to achieve their goals. It is also a reminder that there are people who are worse off than the dreamer who do not have transportation.

The dreamer is running low on fuel and energy and so moving on is a struggle. The care tires are smoking, there is danger, the car moves backwards but the dreamer maintains control of the car. Our dreamer has put up with 3 major setbacks and has survived. The dreamer is very determined, and does what needs to be done, turning on hazard lights and trying really hard to avoid a collision with a rock.

The rock represents the major problem for the dreamer that must be overcome to move forward. The dreamer did not hit the rock but used all of their resources and physical strength to avoid a collision. Rocks are old, so it is an old ongoing problem that the dreamer must move around, they have the strength and determination to do this.

I chose this card because today's dream is all about power, it is about overcoming obstacles and being strong to achieve your goals whatever objects are thrown in your way. In this card a young maid is using her inner strength and calm demeanour to control a lion. With the right attitude we can all be strong and obtain our goals.

The beast that's within us, the control of desire.

We can either tame the beast or let it run riot,

Better to resist temptation than to try it.

With strength you let the animal exist,

Recognise it's power so you can resist,

Use your power for positive creation

A strong state of mind for self determination.

Dream about dorm room and key

This is my dream blog, where I describe a dream, analyse the elements of the dream and then give a dream interpretation.

In today's dream, our dreamer goes back in time to when they were living in the dorm at University. The dreamer goes away for the weekend and when they return to the campus everything seems fine until they return to the dorm building. At this point the dreamer realises that they do not know which is their dorm room.

The dream takes place in the evening between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm. It's getting late and the dreamer wants to get unpacked and go to bed. Unfortunately the dreamer can't remember the room number or floor of their dorm. The dreamer wanders the hallways looking for the right door and realises that even if they find the right room, they do not have the keys. The dreamer's home has a keypad and the car has a key fob and so there is no need to carry keys.

The dreamer never finds the room and wakes up trying to find a solution to the problem.

What does this dream mean?

Dorm Room: To dream about a dorm room, usually a dorm room represents a time of being young and free and living with other people who are the same age and at the same stage of life. A University dorm room represents a time of learning and opportunity where you are just starting in life and learning how to care for yourself, to be independent and study new things.

Being Lost: To dream about being lost means that you have strayed from your life path, it can be positive or negative depending on the situation in the dream. You may enjoy being lost in your dream so it could represent an exciting new direction in your life.

In this dream our dreamer is attempting to go back in time to a place of learning and freedom. They have not been away long but somehow time has moved on and it is getting late. It is between 7:00 pm- 8:00 pm in life and the dreamer cannot get entry in to school. They do not have the key, which is the qualifications and they cannot find what they want to learn.The dream is offering reassurance because the dreamer does not need a key to get into the places that they need to go, they have memorised a code for a key pad. This means that our dreamer already has the required knowledge, in fact their knowledge is more up to date than using an old fashioned key. It could be knowledge from life, rather than from books, it is first hand knowledge that does not need to be learned in a class. It is getting too late to go back to school, the dreamer has everything that they need already.

Dream about Escaping a Spider Web

This is my blog where I describe a dream, analyse the elements of the dream and then give a dream meaning. Today's dream is very simple, the main element is a spiders web.

Our dreamer is in a room and starts to notice a spider's web starting to form around them. They are aware of other people in the room who are bothered by the spider's web. There is no spider visible and the web is getting thicker and thicker and starting to cling to the walls. Nobody seems to know where the web is coming from. The dreamer starts to become scared of the web too.

The dreamer becomes aware of a lady who says that she can help. The lady grabs the hand of the dreamer and leads them away. The street is also full of spider's web, people are running away and screaming because of the web. The dreamer and the lady go to a new building and there is no web, but then the web starts to build in the new place too. What does this mean?

In the dream, the spider is not visible it is hidden so the source of the lies and deceit is hidden. The dreamer has to find and confront the spider or else the problem will persist wherever they go.

In this weeks dream, our dreamer dreams that their brother is in a helicopter crash. The brother's legs are broken and they have to be removed. The bones of the legs are exposed. The brother is interested in going into the closet and that is all.

What does this dream mean?

Helicopter Dreams about a helicopter are concerned with movement and freedom. Helicopters move up and down with ease. If you dream of going up in a helicopter, that is a positive sign as things are going to get better, whereas to go down is a sign that things will get worse. To dream of a helicopter crash means a sudden loss of movement and freedom. The meaning will depend on if you were in the crash or who was in the helicopter.

Dream about Ex-Boyfriends Mother

This is my dream blog, where I describe a dream, interpret the elements of the dream and then give a dream meaning. In this weeks dream, our dreamer is in a room with her ex-boyfriends mother. There is an ice cooler with some juice in it and inside the juice is some meat. The meat turns into nuts. The dreamer wakes up in the dream and is scared by a brown moth flying into their hair. The dreamer then smiles and wakes up. This dream was scary to the dreamer and felt like a nightmare.

What does this dream mean?

Mother Mother's symbolise fertility, nurturing, selflessness, making sacrifices to help someone to grow. To dream about an ex-boyfriend's mother would be a reminder that although you rejected or were rejected by the boyfriend, he still has a mother to nurture and care for him. He does not need you to do that.

Ice Cooler An ice cooler represents coolness and frigidity. The coolness is contained in a small box and it lacks the power of of fridge. It is temporarily cool so not very effective in the long term.

Juice In a dream juice represents nourishment, it is available with little effort. A sign of being easy and available.

Meat This can represent good luck or bad luck depending on the condition of the meat. It may be seen as a sign of riches or of something that has gone wrong if the dreamer is vegan or vegetarian.

Nuts These can symbolise craziness, male sexuality or the availability of the basic needs in life. Nuts are a good source of protein. In context the meaning will depend on the dream and the culture of the dreamer.

The dreamer smiles although scared, this is putting on a brave face and not letting the mother know how deeply the dreamer has been hurt.

Our dreamer has been hurt in a relationship, perhaps feeling unwanted, that they were too available. The relationship changed quickly from one thing to another. The end of the relationship is a blessing as it was weak, like a moth and unsustainable. The dreamer smiles and will be able to overcome this set back.

Dream about Statues and A Graveyard

This is my dream blog, where I describe a dream, suggest possible meanings for the elements of the dream and then give a dream interpretation.

In today's dream our dreamer is travelling in a car with mother. Mother is driving the dreamer through a graveyard, there is a pond surrounded by female statues of different ethnicities. The statues are beautifully dressed and are set to be walking in a circle around the pond. The dreamer is scared of the statues. Our dreamer and mother are just about to leave the graveyard, when our dreamer realises that they have lost their phone. Mother agrees to drive back to find it. Our dreamer is scared of the statues but needs to retrieve the phone. Fortunately the phone is in the road and not too close to the statues and it is easily retrieved.

What does this dream mean?

Being driven in a car: If you are being driven in a car, you are not in total control of your destiny. The road is your journey through life and it is being controlled by someone else. Being in a car shows that you are relatively comfortable in life unless the car was dangerous or broken. The condition of your life is reflected in your mode of transport.

Mother: Mother's usually represent someone who cares for you. The actions of the mother need to be considered and the dreamers personal relationship with mother. A mother can be a symbol of nurturing, sacrifice and guidance.

Graveyard: A graveyard is a place where we let go of people from the past. We bury the dead although we may go back to visit or reconnect with them. It is a place of memories and sometimes sorrow. Dreaming about a graveyard means that you are thinking about people who were previously in your life but who are no longer with you. This does not mean that they are dead, but they are dead to you! Phone: Dreaming about phone has becoming increasingly common since the start of the cell phone era. Phones represent our ability to communicate with others but now they are also a record of our whole lives, our memories in photographs, our source of information, our address book, connections with family and friends, our GPS system. Losing a phone in a dream can mean that the dreamer has lost the ability to communicate with others, has become lost or generally feels adrift.

Returning to something: Re tracing your steps in a dream, symbolises going back to a place you were before and the success or failure of your mission will give you an idea of whether it is worth attempting to re-visit something in your life.

Dream Interpretation

The dreamer is being driven by mother, so this means that they are not in total control of their lives. They are in good hands because mother is driving and that means that they are cared for.

A visit to the graveyard is uncomfortable for our dreamer. It is a visit to the past. In this past there are lots of false idols, in the form of statues. The dreamer is scared and intimidated by these strong women of different ethnicities, these could be ancestors. The dreamer is being asked to reflect on these perfect women, who surround the pond, they are circling the pond and there seems to be no end to them. The circle goes on for ever.

The dreamer feels intimidated and then realises that the phone is lost. In order to function in life, to communicate with others and maintain social relationships our dreamer has to go back and revisit the past. This is painful for our dreamer but necessary and the mother is there to help.

Our dreamer goes back to the past, probably going over old memories and finds that it is better to confront the past than to run away from it. The dreamer is then able to retrieve the phone and the ability to communicate more easily than expected and can resume normal life.

Dream about retirement, drag queens and pink hair

This is my dream blog where I describe a dream, interpret the different elements of the dream and then write a dream interpretation. Writing about the dream helps to put the elements in context. I will then relate the dream to a tarot card.

Today's dream is about retirement, our dreamer has a partner who has retired and is encouraging the dreamer to retire too. The dreamer tries to write some invitations to a retirement party but has trouble fitting all of the words on the page.

At the retirement party, our dreamer is surrounded by co-workers who are dressed in amazing sparkly outfits, the co-workers are all drag queens. They show the dreamer photos of a family member over the years, the pictures are organised by hair colour. The family member has had many different looks over the years and the favourite is the photo with the pink hair.

The dreamer enjoys the party so much and realises that it is not yet time to retire.

Dream meaning retirement: retirement shows a change of pace, a change of life style and a change of priorities. There is no longer the same routine of going to work, it implies that the person is stopping an activity.

Dream meaning writing: Writing is a method of expressing yourself, it usually happens when you want a record of what has been said or created so that there are no misunderstandings. It is a communication that is more formal and stands the test of time. You may be writing something in a dream because you are having trouble talking to people about a situation so you want to make sure that the message is understood. If you write a book or a poem in your dream, then you want to share your story or ideas with others.

In this dream the dreamer wrote invitations so they wanted to make sure that others joined them in celebration.

Dream meaning Drag Queen: A drag queen is an over the top portrayal of a sexy woman by a man. It is an expression of feminine beauty. At the party the dreamer has a lot of fun with friends, the friends are very extraverted and outgoing and the dreamer realises that they do not want to retire. The photos of the family member being creative with the pink hair make our dreamer realise that they would not only miss the co-workers but also feel more distant from this family member.

The dreamer is being warned not to give up on having fun, being feminine, original and creative just because everyone else is retiring. By retiring this dreamer would distance themselves from 'family" and things that make them happy.

This is my dream interpretation blog where I describe a dream, analyse the elements of the dream and then do a dream interpretation. I like to show the dream elements in context so it is easier to understand the dream meaning or message.

In today's dream our dreamer finds themselves in a multi storey car park, they are looking for the way out of the car park. The dreamer joins a queue to leave, all of the other people who are leaving are from a foreign country, they are supported by many friends who clap and cheer as they leave the car park. Our dreamer is stuck in a car park, it is multi storey so there our many things that are preventing our dreamer from moving forward in life. Despite this, the dreamer decides to leave the safety of the car park and follow some international people. The international people are well supported and are happy to leave the car park whereas the dreamer is just following everyone else, there is no goal in mind. The dreamer may well be going to a foreign country. The dreamer is taking a companion along who seems to be relying on our dreamer as they are in the back seat and not driving the car. the companion is a distraction so perhaps our dreamer was more interested in impressing the companion than pursuing their own goals.

This is a mistake as our dreamer is then on a narrow windy road and is finding it difficult to control the car, there are puddles and hills os many obstacles and problems to overcome. the dreamer realises that a four wheel drive is needed and they are not prepared for the journey ahead. The dreamer decides to abandon the journey and find a path back to the car park, even though this looks difficult.

This is a warning dream about becoming impatient when progress is stalled. The dreamer is being asked to stay still and not just follow the crowd particularly when there is little support or planning. The dreamer should plan ahead and not follow a road to impress others. It is important to prepare to follow your goals having the right background and education first.

Dream of a forest and a cradle

This is my blog where I describe a dream, interpret the elements of the dream and write a dream interpretation. It is very important when interpreting a dream to look at the small details of the dream to gain a full understanding of the message.

This weeks dream involves a forest, some salt, re-tracing steps and a wooden cradle. Our dreamer finds themselves in the middle of a forest, they look at the ground and find a salt trail. The dreamer remembers that this is the trail of their life, going through life the dreamer left a trail of salt. The dreamer follows the trail of salt all the way back until they see a wooden cradle.

What does this mean?

The elements of the dream:

Dream of Salt: Salt is a very useful mineral and essential for human health, in the right quantity. It is used in all types of production and for preserving things, cleansing and purifying and to add taste to food. How the salt is used in the dream will reflect it's meaning. A dreamer who uses the right amount of salt in food, will be healthy and happy but an abundance of salt will cause illness. Putting salt on fields so that nothing will grow, shows great fear and negativity about what may happen in the future. Water that is too salty, shows that the dreamer will need to work hard in order to survive in the current environment. Salt uses in the right place and in the right way to purify such as in a bath is a positive dream where the dreamer is ready to start a new venture and let go of the past. Using salt to preserve food in a dream, shows wise investments and preparation for the future. Making a salt trail, the dreamer is preserving their past and their memories and possibly purifying what has gone before.

Dream of Re-tracing steps:

A dream of re-tracing your steps or going back to the past is a sign that you are feeling nostalgic for something that happened before. You have a desire to go over things and possibly to change them. You may be feeling lost and want to go back to the fork in the road where things changed. If the cradle was empty, you will have the support of your family. A cradle with a baby shows an increase in your fortunes. A sturdy wooden cradle shows stability and strength. a rickety or damaged cradle shows that you will need to work hard and do more preparation, and training before you reach your goals. Rocking a cradle shows that you will reach your goals if you are patient.

Our dreamer has been cautious in life, they have laid a trail of salt so that if they ever get lost, they will be able to re-trace their steps to get back home. The dreamer is lost and feels the need to travel all the way back to their family. This is symbolised by the cradle. The path has been purified by the salt, I think this is because memories tend to be romanticised, we either remember the really good bits or the bad bits. Dream about being lost in a hotel

In today's dream our dreamer is lost in a hotel. The dreamer is in a foreign country with a friend, they are looking for room 400. The dreamer and friend walk around several floors of the hotel, their is no pattern to the floors. The hotel has lots of shops selling expensive goods and sweets and drinks. The signs are written in a different language and the dreamer cannot communicate with the people in the hotel. the dreamer and friend visit every floor but cannot find the room. They return to the reception an start out again, the dreamer then loses sight of the friend and continues to look for the room. The dreamer learns that the hotel changes it's appearance every night but they do not find the room.

This dream has several elements, a hotel, a foreign country, a friend, the number 400, a foreign language and shops.

Dream meaning hotel: A hotel is a place where we stay temporarily, it may be a refuge from stresses of everyday life but the meaning is that we are in a temporary living situation whether pleasant or not may be dependent on the condition of the hotel.

Dream about job interview and clothes

Today's dream is about a job interview and clothes. Our dreamer finds themselves going to interview for a job, the dreamer is confidant about being offered the job because they have friends who already work for the business. The dreamer does not remember exactly what the job was for but felt it was appropriate to wear a silver shiny dress, it looks like a disco dress.

The interview is not successful and the dreamer is upset as they were well qualified for the job. The dreamer thinks that the job was not offered because of her outfit. She puts on another dress which is long and flowery she alters it with safety pins to make it look different and returns to beg for a job. She is then offered the job.

Meanwhile she is hanging out with a lot of people who are unemployed and she does not feel confident about starting the job. She realises that she needs to get ready and puts on her dress. She needs to alter it, the light is good and she can see that the dress is old and torn and impossible to repair. Her friends come and help her to fix the dress so that she can start work. She does not feel confident about work as her dress is worn out.

Clothes portray an outward image of what we want others to know or think about us. They are a way for us to dress up and portray an image. Clothes may be your true self or a deception for the world.

In the dream, our dreamer prepared for an interview that she expected to get by putting on a sparkly silver short dress. She wanted to appear young and fun and successful. The interviewer was not convinced by her disguise and did not offer her the job even though she was well known to the company.

The dreamer did not give up, so this shows that she should be persistent in her goals if she wishes to succeed. She fixes up another dress which is a sign that she is prepared to disguise herself in order to reach her goal. She realises that she does not really fit in with the company as she has to dress for work and does not have an appropriate outfit. Her clothes are old and torn, this implies that she is feeling old and although her friends help her to prepare for this job she does not feel comfortable.

This dream seems to be a warning about trying to fool people. The dreamer realises that she fooled the interviewer but underneath her clothes are torn and she is not feeling good about the disguise that enabled her to succeed. Her friends are nice and supportive and perhaps she has to undergo some discomfort because so many are out of work and she should be grateful. It is up to the dreamer to decide if the means are worth the ends...

This reminds me of the seven of swords, where someone is trying to sneak away with the swords. This card is about being deceptive to achieve your goals just like out dreamer!

Dream about a Spider, a Web and a Dog

This is my blog where I describe a dream, interpret the elements of the dream and then offer a dream interpretation. I do this to help put the elements of the dream in context so that a better interpretation can be achieved.

In today's dream the dreamer sees a large brown spider, it is about 8 inches across, the spider is in the dreamer's bedroom. The spider attacks the dreamer, although the dreamer is not bitten. There is a huge diagonal web going across the room from floor to ceiling both sides. It is about 6 inches wide and about twelve feet in length. The dreamers dog comes into the room and tries to chase the spider away but the spider fights back. The dreamer is scared. There are some additional spiders of normal size in the corner of the room but these are not a threat.

What does the dream mean?

Spider Dream meaning: Spiders are scary to many of us but they are traditionally associated with feminine energy, this goes back to the ancient Egyptians and is also referenced by Freud. I find this a bit odd but understand that spiders can represent patience, they are diligent and create beautiful intricate webs. They are agile and wait until the prey is caught in the web before they attack. Perhaps this is why they are described as feminine, they do not go to war directly, they wait until the prey is compromised before the attack so then it is easier to overcome prey that might be too strong or too quick for them to catch. Woman are less likely to be direct so perhaps are more spider like.

If you dream about a spider attacking you, watch out for a woman who is trying to deceive you and overpower you. If you admired the spider in your dream then you are happy to watch the antics of others as they try to achieve their goals.

Spider Web Dream Meaning: Spider's webs are deceptively strong, they are intricate and some are beautiful. Spider's create them with patience and work hard to achieve a strong web.

If you are caught in a spider's web you have been deceived by a cunning female. You did not see the trap that had been laid for you.

If you see the web but are not trapped, you become aware that someone is trying to trap you in a situation that will be difficult to escape from.

If you see a spider's web and admire it, you are enjoying the creative pursuits of someone else.

The woman is likely a family member because the web has been spun in the dreamer's home. The dreamer is aware that a trap has been set but is surprised by the extent of the web. The dog represents a friend who comes to the aid of the dreamer and the dreamer is surprised at the way the enemy woman also attacks the friend. It is not normal for someone to be this aggressive. The other smaller spiders represent other smaller problems that were predictable and that the dreamer feels able to cope with.

The warning is for the dreamer to look out for a huge amount of opposition and to be prepared to handle a difficult situation at home. It is unlikely that the dreamer can avoid this situation because it has been planned for a long time and it is happening in their home.

I chose the eight of swords to go with this dream, the spider has eight legs and is associated with feminine deception. In the eight of swords we have a woman who cannot see what is happening to her. She is wearing a blindfold and although she can move away from a situation as her feet are not bound she cannot tell where to go. Her arms are bound as if she is tangled in a spiders web. It is possible that she is being deceived but she cannot see it. Swords represent air so a lot of the suffering is going on in the mind rather than in the physical realm.

This is my blog where I describe a dream, interpret the elements of the dream and then give a dream interpretation. Each element of the dream is a symbol for something and the interpretation sets the dream in context.

In this weeks dream, the dreamer is driving a vintage car, when one of the wheels gets stuck in a manhole. The children are in the back of the car and the dreamer attempts to get some people to help. No-one offers so the dreamer goes into a department store to ask for help. He sees the manager of the shoe department and wants to tell her what has happened.
