Why do I keep dreaming about failure?

Today's dream is about failure, all types of failure, exams, job interviews and university entrance.
This is my blog where I describe a dream, interpret the elements of the dream and interpret them.
Today's Dream
The dreamer has applied for a job and there are many applicants. In the interview the dreamer is asked questions but gives the wrong answer to every question. The other applicants seem to be doing well.
The applicant is then traveling to work but is unable to find their keys so they have to travel in someone else's van.
In the next dream, the dreamer is taking a test and the other test takers are making fun of the dreamer because they are old. The dreamer tries to fill in an application with pencil and paper but they keep making mistakes. They decide to start afresh but cannot find any clean paper to write on.
Then our dreamer decides to apply for university putting their details in a machine. However the dreamers qualifications do not fit the profile and the course is too expensive. The dreamer has to back out discretely as they are embarrassed.

If you dreamed about applying for a job it means that you are wondering if you are qualified to fulfil your role in life. Perhaps you want to make some changes and are unsure if it is the right fit for you.
To be successful in the job application means that you feel confident in the path you have chosen and expect to do well. If you do badly at the interview, you may be lacking in confidence. It does not mean that you will fail but you need to consider if you have chosen the right path.
If you keep answering questions incorrectly in an interview, it means that you have communication problems. You may misunderstand what is expected of you by others or it may mean that the people around you misunderstand you. Work hard to make sure that your needs and theirs are understood.
Lost keys and lateness dream meaning
Dreaming about a lost key, means that you are unable to open doors that were previously easy to enter, this applies to car, house and office keys. There is a feeling of a loss of opportunity. Losing a car key means that you feel restricted in your movements. Losing an office key means that your chances of advancement are restricted. Losing a house key means that you are no longer feeling welcome in your own home. You may need to move or re-establish your territory.
To dream of being late means that there are obstacles that are preventing you from achieving your goal. Consider the other parts of the dream to see what the obstacle might be.
Dreaming of taking a test
Dreaming about taking a test is a sign that you are tested in life. You may be finding things difficult. If you passed the test you have the ability to overcome the obstacles that are around you. If you failed the test you lack the confidence or possibly the ability to achieve your goals. It may be that you could pass the test but you lack self belief.
Dreaming about completing an application form
If you dream about filling in an application form, you are being asked to prove that you are qualified for the position in life that you want. Perhaps you are making major life changes and you want to make sure that you are ready.
Having trouble filling in the form means that you do not feel ready to tackle the changes ahead. There may be obstacles like computer problems, broken pens and not enough paper. These are material things that are preventing you from achieving your goal.
Dream meaning university application
When you dream about applying for university it means that you want to improve your mind. You must have reached a certain stage in your development to prove you are qualified. If you do not succeed you are lacking something that you need or you believe yourself to be unqualified for the advancement that you seek.
If you are successful it means that you are well prepared for the period ahead where you will mentally make great progress and develop new thoughts and ideas.
Dream Interpretation
This dream is all about confidence or lack of it. The dreamer seems to have a feel of failure and inadequacy and is possibly reliving past failures. They are at a point in life where they are reviewing things that have happened before. The way ahead seems uncertain and the dreamer does not feel prepared for what lies ahead.
Our dreamer has lost their way. They are stressed and lacking in confidence about the road ahead. They cannot communicate with those around them to explain their experience. Having lost the car keys they have lost their independence and are afraid that they will have to rely on others.
Being late for an appointment means they are not prepared for what lies ahead. This also applies to the application form there are too many obstacles preventing the dreamer from attaining their goals.
The dreamer is feeling old and out of touch and unsure of the next step in life as learning new things and taking on new roles do not seem to be working out for them.
