6 Ways that spirits will reach out to you.

Spirits will use all of your senses to try and get a message to you. You may see things, feel them, sense them, smell them, feel a touch or possibly taste something.

Seeing Spirit

This can be literal actually seeing a shadow, across a wall, in a mirror or a movement out of the corner of your eye. It is rarer to see an actual person although about one in five people will see a full bodied spirit at some point.

You may see all types of visual stimuli that will alert you to a spirit that is trying to contact you. The lights may flash off and on, a bulb may blow or a ceiling fan might switch off an on randomly. Spirit seems to be able to manipulate electrical devices. It may be because spirits are made up of the energy. This is possibly the energy of people who have left their physical bodies. 

You may not see a spirit but family pets such as cats and dogs are very sensitive and you may see them staring at an invisible being, hissing or growling.  Young children are also very open to seeing spirit and may look at, talk and interact with beings that we cannot see.

Other ways that you may visually become aware of spirits is if you have cat balls, which react to being touched. These will flash to alert you that a spirit is present. 

Spirits like to move things to get your attention. You may find that objects have moved around the house. The object may be associated with a person who has passed. The same is true of photos and pictures that may fall over. 

Another method that spirits use is to stop the clocks at a certain time. It may be the time that they died or a time that gives you a message. You may be woken up at a certain time in the middle of the night each night often in the early hours-check that it is not a neighbour that woke you. If not perhaps a spirit is reaching across the veil.

A final thing that you might see is in your head, there may be messages in dreams. These are particularly important if you have recurring dreams or dreams with the same message. You may be getting a warning from a spirit. 

Hearing from Spirit

Spirit may talk to you, you may hear messages in your head. Sometimes you will be given words that you do not know the meaning of, this is a true sign that the message is from spirit. Occasionally you will be sent s song from spirit, it could be a song that you associate with this person or there may be a message in the lyrics.

Spirits may also create noise particularly in buildings. You may hear footsteps, doors open and closing or floorboards creaking. If you are in a haunted place, this may be a warning for you to leave. This can also happen when you have just moved into a new home, there may be a possessive spirit who possibly has not gone into the light who would like you to leave. You will be able to sense what type of contact it is. Some spirits do not like you to redecorate 'their' homes.

Taste

It is much rarer to taste something and associate this with spirit but you may suddenly become aware of a taste that you associate with a person. This could be their favourite dish, sweets  or something that you associate strongly with them.

Spirit Contact- Smell

Spirits use smell quite regularly to make you aware of their presence. A heavy smoker may waft cigarette or cigar smoke over you. You can smell the smoke but no-one around you is smoking. You may be driving your car and then you are aware of the smell of perfume, this is the perfume of someone who has passed. They are getting in touch with you, perhaps they are saying hello or there may be a larger message.

Spirit Contact - Touch

Spirits also use touch to give us information. You may connect with a spirit that give you pain where they felt pain. This is to let you know who they are. You may feel a spirit tap you on the shoulder or give you a massage when you are feeling low.

Another thing that you may feel is cold when spirits are present. A room may possibly have a cold spot as the spirit needs to use the energy to manifest. It is not really understood why this happens but it is a commonly reported thing.

Spirit Contact -Sixth Sense

This is that feeling you get in your gut, following your gut instinct. It is being aware that someone is reaching out to you. You may feel that you are being watched, you may be hearing and seeing things in your head. You may suddenly get the shivers or a warning not to stay in a place, or attend an event. A spirit may be warning you or sometimes advising you and helping you make good life choices. Listen to your spirit guides.

Dream Interpretations

I started interpreting dreams when I was a teenager. I always had very detailed dreams and would recount them to my friends. A boyfriend bought me a dream dictionary and I started to delve into interpretation. Unfortunately, I found that many dreams had elements that were contradictory and so I did not get a good understanding of my dream by just using a dictionary.

The Dream

This is my blog where I describe a dream, interpret the elements of the dream and then find a dream meaning. Please reach out to me if you would like me to interpret a dream for you, details are in side column. Skip to lower paragraph to see bugle dream meaning.

In today's dream the dreamer finds themselves in temporary accommodation. They look out of the window and see some material from one of their outfits, it is made of wool and cut apart. They remember putting their clothes in a wardrobe nearby and their jewellery in another cupboard. The dreamer finds that the place where the wardrobe was has been turned into a shop and the place where the jewellery was has turned into another shop. The dreamer is told that they can have access to their clothes next Tuesday evening.

The dreamer then encounters their daughter who has got rid of her baby clothes and has smaller clothes for her own child. The dreamer wants to do a meditation and call everyone to meditate. To do this, the dreamer must blow a bugle. The daughter is in a Celtic band and will be playing another instrument to call the meditation. The dreamer finds themselves breathless and unable to blow the bugle or  join with the band despite the daughter's encouragement.

What does this dream mean?

Dream meaning temporary accommodation

Dream about Clothes

If you dream about clothes you are concerned about your public image, this is the way that we appear in the world. There are more detailed interpretations about clothes dreams here. However if your dream involved ripped or shredded clothes, this would mean that your image has been shattered.

Dream about Wool

If you dream about wool, it is associated with keeping warm in the winter. A dream where the wool was frayed or falling apart means that you may find yourself cold and unprotected.

Dream about Meditation

If you dreamed about meditation then you are trying to relax and step back from a situation. Getting others to meditate means that you are trying to help those around you. Seeing others meditating is telling you that you may need to slow down too, perhaps you are too busy driving towards the future without contemplating what is now? If meditation is interrupted then there are pressing things that need to be accomplished urgently.

Dream about Bugle

Bugles are used to call people to attention, it may be at the beginning of the day, the end of the day or it may be a warning. Dreaming about a bugle call is alerting you to something that is changing, it depends on the context of the call. It may be good news that you are sharing with the world. If someone else played the bugle then you will hear from someone far away. To break or damage a bugle means that you are cutting off communication with others and keeping secrets.

If you tried to blow a bugle but you were unable to because you were out of breath, it means that you are exhausted and stressed and unable to communicate with others.

If you dreamed of joining a band that means that you want to play in harmony with others. You want to be part of a group. If you are unable to join a group then you are too much of an individual to fit in with others and keep in step and tune with them.

Dream meaning Celtic Music

If you hear Celtic music in a dream then you are most likely enjoying the company of someone from a  rural and proud people who is brave and strong. This would apply to you if you played the music.

Dream meaning

Today's dream means that the dreamer is feeling unsettled, they are in temporary accommodation. The dreamer is not feeling themselves as their clothes, their image has been lost and they have lost their valuables. The dreamer feels financially insecure. There is a feeling that they may be left out in the cold as the wool clothes have been shredded. 

The dreamer knows that at some time they can regain their image as the clothes will be returned on a Tuesday. This is a set time so it means that when a certain event occurs, the dreamer will be able to regain their freedom of expression. 

The dreamer wants to help others relax and to chill out with some meditation. However the dreamer is too stressed to do this, they are unable to blow the bugle. The dreamer also cannot join the band as they are too stressed to communicate effectively with others.

The Dream

This is my blog where I describe a dream, interpret the elements of the dream and then give a dream meaning. In today's dream our dreamer attends a family reunion. They meet up with some family members that they have not see in a long time but they do not recognise them. Feeling uncomfortable the dreamer leaves the reunion on foot and then realises that they are lost. The dreamer walks around the streets and cannot find anything familiar. A young person flies a drone near to the dreamers head. The dreamer then finds themselves near a bunch of students but does not fit in with them either. The dreamer feels that they are in a foreign country.

What does this dream mean?

Dream about family reunion

If you dreamed about a family reunion your subconscious is telling you that you have issues about your role in the family. Perhaps you have already flown from the nest and a reunion is a chance for you to feel safe and secure with those around you. If you still live at home it might be a warning that you need to gain your own identity by moving away.

If you did not recognise your family or the reunion was not harmonious then you are feeling alienated. Perhaps you chose a different path from the rest of your family or perhaps you moved abroad and have lost touch. This can give rise to feelings of insecurity as you may have no team to back you up if you ever need help.

Dream about getting lost

If you dreamed about getting lost whether it is in a city or a forest it means that you have lost track of yourself. You are unsure of what your goals are. You may be feeling alienated and not comfortable with the decisions you have made.

Dream about drone

If you dream about a drone flying over you then you may be worried that people are spying on you. You are feeling a lack of privacy. If someone attacked you with a drone, then you feel that  people are using technology to hurt you. There is a feeling of lack of privacy as the drone is able to follow you at a height. 

Dream about students

Dreaming about students if you are a student means that you are surrounded by like minded people who want to improve themselves. If you dreamed about students and you are not a student, if you enjoyed the encounter then you are ready to learn a life lesson. If you were uncomfortable with the students then you are not ready to learn anything new, you have closed your mind to new information.

Dream about a foreign country

Dreaming of being abroad may be positive or negative depending on your reaction to the situation. If you were happy and enjoying the environment then you are ready to experience something new and different. If you were uncomfortable in the foreign environment you aren't comfortable with your choices, you are feeling alienated by those around you.

Today's dream is all about change, our dreamer does not recognise their family. The family has changed, perhaps the dreamer had a long absence and can no longer feel close to those they loved. The dreamer tries to leave the situation but becomes more lost and uncomfortable. The dreamer sees the drone and feels a lack of privacy and under attack. The dreamer meets students and is not comfortable because they do not want to learn any new lessons. It is possible that the dreamer is longing for the past before everything changed.

The moon represents the unconscious and the hidden. The similarity between the dreamer and this card is that the card shows a dog and wolf howling at the moon. They are distracted from their paths and exploiting their animal nature. In today's dream the dreamer is out for a walk and they notice a group of wild cats on the top of a hill. There are lions, tigers and cheetahs standing together. The dreamer is worried about being attacked and so decides to walk away. The dreamer feels safe but then feels a cheetah bite their ankle. The dreamer then wakes up. What does this dream mean?

Dream about Lions

Lions symbolise pride, power and strength. If you ran away from this then you are not feeling confident in your abilities, you do not want to be noticed. If you were attacked by a lion, then you need to pay attention to your strength and power as others see you as weak. To be friends with a lion shows that you are strong and have a good sense of who you are. To kill a lion means that you are destroying yourself by being over confident.

Tigers symbolise aggression, bravery and persistence. Cheetahs symbolise speed and agility. A positive encounter with a cheetah means that you are you are quick to deal with situations and able to cope with situations that need you to think on your feet. To be chased by a cheetah means that you are feeling trapped and unable to move on from a situation in your life. Killing a cheetah in a dream means that you will be unable to move on from a current situation. If you are bitten by a cheetah then you need to escape from a situation as others are seeing you as weak and vulnerable.

Dream about Jaguar

Jaguars in a dream represent inner power and control of your urges. If you are chased by a jaguar you are being overtaken by your innermost desires. This can be both positive and negative depending on the desires represented. Killing jaguar means that you are suppressing your primal urges in a way that is detrimental to you. To be bitten by a jaguar is a warning to take care of your own needs as it is unhealthy to ignore them.

Dream about Lynx, (smaller wild cats)

Lynx and other small wild cats in a dream symbolise stealth, secrecy and cunning. If you ran away from a Lynx then you are afraid of looking into a situation in case you find out something unpleasant. If you kill a wild cat in your dream you will find that your secrets are exposed. If you watch a Lynx or have a positive encounter then you a able to keep secrets and act in a stealthy and cunning way.

In today's dream our dreamer encountered lions, tigers and cheetahs. The dreamer was afraid that others in their environment were braver, more confident, faster and more aggressive and so the dreamer retreated. This is a typical fight or flight response. Our dreamer does not want to be in a situation of conflict, however they are pursued and attacked by the cheetah. The cheetah bit them in the foot which means that it is difficult to run away from a situation. The dream means that it is time to face up to an uncomfortable situation and to make plans to move on before it is too difficult to escape.

This is my blog where I describe a dream, interpret the elements of the dream and then give a dream meaning. In today's dream our dreamer finds themselves preparing lots of dishes for other people. They cook pasta and salmon and try to keep track of who is eating. The oven starts giving off fumes. The dreamer runs out of salmon and has to cook more pasta. The dreamer then goes upstairs and is worried because they are not wearing any underwear and they do not want the relatives to look up and notice this. What does this dream mean?

To dream about cooking for others means that you are nurturing those around you. If you dream about cooking for yourself then you are concentrating on taking care of your own health needs.If the meal was good then you are performing these tasks successfully but if it was poor or burnt then you are probably overdoing it.

The Dream

This is my blog where I describe a dream, interpret the elements of the dream and then give a full dream interpretation.

In this dream the dreamer is looking up at the sky and sees a strange aircraft, it is a bit like a bus with wings. The aircraft is coming down and crash lands into a small lake. It lands upside down but it is intact. The dreamer calls the emergency services. The dreamer then takes another look at the aircraft and it has flipped back the right way and people are able to get off unhurt. What does this dream mean?

Dreams of air travel mean that you are moving comfortably through life. You are exceeding your expectations and rising above everyone else. You will reach your destination quickly.

Flight Delays Dream

If you dream involved a flight delay then your will take longer to reach your goals than expected but you will get there in the end. There may be some inconvenience and discomfort on the way.

Air Turbulence Dream

You are heading towards your destination but there will be some rapid ups and downs on the way. These may be unexpected but they are a normal part of life and you will still be able to reach your goal.

Air Crash Dream

If you dream about an air crash, the meaning depends on whether you were in the crash or you observed it. If you saw a plane crash, it means that there is a lot of turmoil in your surroundings. You may not be directly affected but the environment you live in could feel some ill effects and you may be emotionally scarred by what happens around you.

If you dream about being in an air crash, then all your aspirations will come tumbling down to earth. Perhaps something catastrophic will happen or perhaps you have not been realistic in setting your plans and goals. You will be able to move on from this situation.

To dream of an aircraft over water means that you are able to navigate life's emotional waters with ease. You are able to be detached from situations that may be emotionally difficult.

In this dream our dreamer saw  people flying above an emotional situation, the water, but then they crashed down and landed upside down. The dreamer calls the emergency services for help but in fact help was not needed as the people were able to help themselves. The dreamer is in a situation where they believe that someone around them is helpless but in fact they are able to help themselves so there is no need to panic.
