In this dream the subject dreams that someone else is cutting his grass. He has not asked the person to cut the grass and they cut it too short. What does this mean?

Cutting the grass: this dream is a sign that you are taking care of your home. You may be trying to keep up appearances to the outside world that your home life is good.

Dreaming of cutting someone else's grass: this dream means that you are taking care of other people's homes and may be neglecting your own home. You may also be straying onto someone else's territory or wishing that you had a different home.

Dreaming of someone else cutting your grass: if you are happy about it, then you are able to delegate menial chores to others, this is a sign of success or perhaps a promotion of some kind. If the person was cutting your grass and you did not want them to do it, you are feeling that someone else is encroaching on your territory in the home. You may be feeling jealous or insecure.

Dreaming that the grass is cut too short: this is a sign of being over zealous or fanatical to a point that is damaging. It is perfectionist behaviour that has gone too far.

Dreaming that the grass is left too long; this means that the person doing the task does not care about outward appearances and is not concerned about how others view them.

Dreaming of mowing lines into a lawn: this is a sign that outward beauty and perfection are really important.

Dreaming of dead grass: this dream means that things have outwardly gone wrong, there is not enough attention being given to situations at home and you can no longer hide the problem.

Dream meaning example: our dreamer saw someone else cutting his grass so he is feeling challenged in the home. Someone else is taking over his duties. The grass is cut too short so he is also aware that the person taking over cannot do as good as job as he has done. The challenger is trying to do a better job but is failing. This weeks dream: in this dream the subject is going on a date with an old friend, but every time she tries to meet him something comes up. The first time they are supposed to meet, she has to make some dough and is late for their date. She looks at her date and sees that she has put dough on his face. The second time that they are due to meet, she is late because she is trying to learn the names of the teams in the baseball league. When they do meet she realizes that she has lost her purse and so the date is over. She retraces her steps and meets up with the boyfriend that she split up with a few months ago. He tries to help her to find her purse, she does not want to tell him that she has a new boyfriend. They walk through an old house together looking for her purse, they find a lot of old photographs from the family that lived in the house and also height markings on the wall where the children of the house had grown up. She did not find her purse.

Obstacle Dream: Date. This is a classic obstacle dream, the dreamer wants to go on a date but she is unable to do so at this time. When you dream of obstacles, it means that there are blockages that prevent you from taking a certain course of action. You may succeed in the end but you may have to wait for a while and resolve some issues.

Dough Dream:To dream of making dough, is a symbol for making money, earning your bread or putting a crust on the table. The fancier the dough the more money you will have a basic dough means that you will have the necessities. Sweet dough means that life is good, sour dough means that you are not happy in your work, spicy dough means that you have an exciting job. To see a boyfriend of girlfriend with dough on their face, means that you look at them and see money. You are interested in them for their wealth. Dough on the hands means money in the hand.

Learning Dream: Dreaming that you are learning about teams is something that you do to impress someone, it shows that you do not feel confident with your present level of knowledge. You would learn about teams to impress someone who is interested in sports.

Lost Purse Dream:To dream of losing your purse, this is a sing of a loss of wealth and security. It is where you keep your money, credit cards, make up, keys to your car and home. Losing a purse in a dream is a fear that you will lose everything. Losing a purse on a date shows that you think that this person is a threat to your security.

Old Boyfriend/ Girlfriend Dream: To dream of meeting an old boyfriend or girlfriend is a sign that you are not ready to move on with your life. The person si still connected with you in some way. If you were in a house together perhaps you still own a home together or have children. This person is still a factor in your life or in your security. If you dream about not telling them something, it shows that you still care about their feelings and do not want to hurt them.

Photos Dream: To dream of old photos is a sign that you are feeling nostalgic for a time past. You are thinking about memories good or bad depending on the nature of the photographs. New photos mean new experiences.

Height Markings Dream: To see children's height markings on a wall is to see that time has moved on, you have grown up and so have the people around you. You may be looking back and wondering where the time went.

This weeks dream shows that the subject is not able to move on with her life. She tries to go on a date but she only wants the person's money- she looks at them and sees dough on their face. She tries to date again but feels that she needs to learn all of the baseball teams, so she does not feel that she has anything in common with this person. She goes on a date again and loses her purse, this is a sign that she thinks dating may cost her money and security. She retraces her steps and meets an old boyfriend but she does not want to be truthful with him about moving on with her life because she still has feelings for this person. They walk through an old house that sill connects them and look at photographs that do not belong to them and heights marks of children that are not their children. This shows that she is feeling nostalgic for memories that are not real. Her life with the previous boyfriend was not as romantic as she believes. The fact that the photographs were old show that this relationship is in the past.

Dreaming of being in a sink

In this dream the subject finds themselves trapped in an enormous kitchen sink, they can either allow themselves to go down the plug hole or find a way to climb out. Fortunately they find a rope and climb out from the sink.

Dreaming of being in a sink, whether it is a kitchen sink or a bathroom sink is a sign of being stuck in a situation from which it is necessary to escape. A kitchen sink may symbolise being stuck in the kitchen, perhaps in domestic work, or as a housewife, or cook but not in a happy place. Being stuck in a bathroom sink symbolises that your life is in the toilet and that can mean many things, it could be related to your work, your daily chores or your love life but it isn't good.

To escape the sink by going down the drain, is a sign that you let everything go in order to escape your situation, it will take a good deal of work to get life back on track. Your life is going down the drain. If you found a means of escaping the sink that involved climbing, there is a happier solution, you will be able to make progress and climb out of your difficulties but it will be hard work.

In the dream the subject is confined by domesticity and needs to make a supreme effort to escape or they will spend their life tied to the kitchen sink. Fortunately the subject is creative enough to find a rope to climb out of the situation. Finding an escape rope in a dream is a sign that there is a lifeline out there waiting for you to grab it.

Dreaming of being blind

In this dream, the subject was only able to see the floor, in other words part of their vision was obstructed. The subject was handed letter with some really important news but was unable to read it because they could only see the floor.

A dream of blindness, if you are not blind, means that you are unable to see what is going on around you, you may be in a situation where you cannot see your way forward so the dream is telling you to stop and reassess your direction. If you only have partial vision, then you are not seeing the whole picture in your life, there are things going on around you that you are unaware of and you need to pay more attention to the big picture.

In the dream the subject was waiting for news, the dream shows that they will be given the news but it will take time for them to understand the meaning of the letter.

Dream: Looking for your seat or date

This is my blog where I describe a dream, define the elements of the dream and then do a dream interpretation.

In the dream you are in a restaurant with a friend, they have taken a seat and you walk over to sit next to them, every time that you get near to the seat, the configuration of seats changes, you now have to walk further, there are buildings in the way, extra chairs and extra aisles. Eventually you reach your destination and sit down. This is an obstacle dream where you need to overcome some issues.

In this dream you want to settle down with someone and it seems like a simple thing to do but every time you almost reach your goal something changes. This is a message that things are going to take longer than you anticipated and be more complicated than you thought. Buildings getting in the way, may also be a symbol for home ownership that effects the course of a relationship. The fact that this was only a restaurant may mean that just going on a date is really complicated for you. You have a home, you are in strange ever changing territory that you do not understand. The success of the date or relationship depends on how well the meal went and how you interacted with this person.

Dating someone in a dream that you would never consider in your daily life is a reminder to open your eyes and widen your horizons if this was a good date. If it was a bad date then you should stick to the type of people that you already know.

Dreaming about being naked can have several meanings, it depends on where you were and how you felt about being naked. If you dreamed about being naked in public and you were embarrassed or trying to cover yourself up, it means that you are not comfortable with other people seeing who you really are, you try to disguise your true self with clothes. If you were walking around naked and enjoying yourself it is a sign that you are comfortable with who you are. If everyone in your dream was naked except for you, then you feel that those around you are more confident about themselves and you are being told to allow your true self to emerge to others.

If just a part of you was naked then you are comfortable with others learning a little about you but not too much. If people are laughing at your naked body, you must overcome the fear of showing the world who you are. In a nutshell a positive naked experience shows you are comfortable in your body and you are happy for the world to know who you are. A negative experience would mean that you need to build your confidence and be comfortable with your true skyclad self.

Many of us dream about birds, the meaning depends on the type of bird, our relationship with that bird and also what the bird was doing. It is helpful to think of the way the bird was behaving to understand the dream meaning and the physical appearance or colour of the bird may also give a clue.

Dreaming about a cardinal, a bright red song bird that can be seen at the top of a tree may mean that you are feeling extraverted or may meet someone who is an extravert. The colour red can mean passion and love. Singing from the top of a tree is a sign of someone who wants to stand out and be noticed.

Dreaming about crows. Crows are intelligent, noisy and often hang out in groups. They are social and so a dream about crows may mean that you are going to be part of a group or may be teased by a group if the crows made fun of you.

Dreaming of vultures may be a sign that someone has died or it could be the death of an idea or way of life.

Dreaming of blue jays, Jackdaws and Magpies, these birds like to collect bright shiny things, so if you are one of these birds in your dream then you might be the collector but if not, you need to take care of your money and your jewelry because someone may take it from you.
