Life is a conundrum, feeling paradoxical is a way of life. We are so connected and wired and in touch with everyone and everything but somehow we are not connected with ourselves and each other except in a superficial way. We share funny stuff on facebook, we can learn about almost everything on the internet but somehow there is this loss of real connectivity with each other. We can call each other almost any time and anywhere, distances are shorter, the world is smaller. We keep in touch effortlessly with family and friends overseas but we are still lonely disconnected souls.
How can we become mystical and spiritual in this fast crazy amped up world? Is it important?
Can you believe that you can communicate with family and loved ones by thought alone? Can you believe that you may be able to know how they are feeling, sense when they are going to call you. Know ahead of time what they are going to say? Can you slow down and contemplate the direction of your life without constantly numbing yourself with loud music, television, youtube, games?
It seems to be necessary to take stock sometimes, work out who you really are and what you would like to do, today and every day. The time is right because you are reading this now, get in touch with your inner self and do something about it.
Take some quiet time, meditate, reread your diaries from when you were a child, remind yourself of your childhood dreams, look at your old visionboard, you school yearbook and remind yourself who you are and what you set out to do. If you are following your dream or a new and better dream then that is wonderful, but if not, what are you going to do about it? Act now!
Take your inner mystic jourmey and remember who you are and connect with those you care about and link with the causes you are passionate about. A mystical journey may begin in the mists of time or the jumble of a distant memory but it can certainly come out into the light of creation if you will let it.
