Entry costs are low, a blog such as this one on typepad or a website on Word Press need not cost too much but how do you find customers?
There are courses on YouTube on SEO, Google Adwords and all sorts of cool technical stuff, but what if you are not interested in learning the technical stuff about internet marketing? Many people do not have the budget to employ a marketing expert on day one, and there may not be many days beyond day one if the business does not get any clients.
One way that I have found to promote my services that costs very little, is to use Thumbtack. Thumbtack sends leads to my phone and to my email, they let me know who wants a life coach or a dream interpreter and for a small fee I can bid on the job.
